RENTALS

Gemics LLC reserves the right to update these Terms of service and policies at any time, without prior notice.

BOOKINGS

  1. A valid Government Issued ID and your agreement to these Terms & Conditions of Trade are required for booking.
  2. The name & address on your ID must match the name and delivery address of your order. There are no exceptions. If the ID details do not match the shipping details then the order will be voided and a store credit issued.
  3. ID needs to be uploaded to each order.

CANCELLATIONS

All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, for any reason. This includes, but is not limited to:

  1. The cancellation of your pageant, or you not attending the pageant, for any reason.
  2. Placing an order and not providing required identification.
  3. Not making the remaining deposit payment in a timely manner will result in the cancellation of your booking.

STORE CREDITS

  1. Where allowed, a store credit will be issued in lieu of a cash refund.
  2. The credit must be applied within 3 months, on a Use-It-Or-Lose-It basis, for bookings up to 24 months in advance.
  3. This credit can be used only once.
  4. Store Credits can only be used as payment towards a future rental item.
  5. Store Credits can be used as a partial payment (when the item rented is more expensive that the original item).
  6. Store Credits have no redeemable cash value.
  7. This credit can only be issued before the item(s) are shipped. Once orders are shipped, there are no credits offered.

BALANCES

Balances of Deposits paid are required, at a minimum, 14 calendar days before your pageant. Failure to complete your payment(s) in a timely manner will result in the cancellation of your order. All payments, including Deposits and Partial Payments are Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable and a store credit will be issued instead subject to the standard STORE CREDIT rules.

FINANCING

Payment options through Affirm are subject to eligibility, may not be available in all states, and are provided by these lending partners: affirm.com/lenders.

CA residents: Loans by Affirm Loan Services, LLC are made or arranged pursuant to a California Finance Lenders Law license.

PayPal may also offer customers financing.

Gemics has no input into any decision of 3rd parties offering any financing. These general market options ( via Affirm and PayPal ) are made available to you as a courtesy. Gemics LLC does not offer any financial products or tools.

MEASUREMENTS

Measurements of each garment are noted in the product descriptions. Please measure your child. There are no refunds / store credits issued for garments that do not fit. If additional measurements are required by you, please make such a request before booking.

SHIPPING

We ship according to the UPS published delivery schedules to have your order(s) delivered to you by the Friday before your pageant. Tracking is always provided. A return UPS shipping label is provided with your order. This shipping label must be used for the return.

If the option to provide your own shipping label is selected at checkout, it MUST be UPS Ground.

In the event that the item is damaged in transit, you are required to file for the $100 minimum (automatically) insured amount and immediately reimburse Gemics LLC to that same value.

You are required to retain a copy of the return shipping receipt as proof of return. In the event of a dispute, this receipt will be relied on to determine fault, if the rented item is not received back. Gemics will seek damages form you not exceeding fair market replacement value of the item, if the rented item is not returned.

ON RECEIPT OF RENTED OUTFIT

Open the box immediately. Do not discard the packaging materials. You will need to return the item using all these materials.

Check that all inventoried items are present. If something is missing, you must report this immediately. You will be held responsible for the replacement cost of any missing items if you do not report it. 

A return shipping label and an inventory list is included in the box. Please keep these safe.

USE AND CARE OF RENTED ITEMS

NO SMOKING is permitted anywhere near the outfit.

(There will be a $50 cleaning charge if the outfit is returned smelling of smoke)

No food or drink is to be consumed while wearing the outfit. Even water will stain some materials.

Please be very careful with tanning products staining the dress/outfit.

Do not attempt cleaning or dry cleaning. This can damage the dress/outfit irreparably if not done very carefully and correctly. We'd rather try clean it after you've returned it.

Do not attempt any alterations - we'll take care of those before it ships.

Do not use pins, (any) glue, etc. 

Do not leave outfit(s) in hot environments. Excessive heat can cause the adhesives used in attaching appliques & trims to detach from the bodice. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REATTACH.

Please request assistance BEFORE proceeding to address any issues you are experiencing.

LIABILITY & RESPONSIBILITY

  1. While the outfit is in your care, you are responsible for it.
  2. Reasonable wear and tear is acceptable. However, missing attachments ( such as bows, capes etc ) will be charged for, as will any significant damage of an outfit resulting in the need for major repairs or replacement. A list of all accompanying accessories, and their respective replacement costs, is included with your order for your convenience in ensuring the complete outfit is returned.
  3. By renting from Gemics LLC, you agree to absolve Gemics LLC, its owners, officers and employees from any harm and responsibility in the event of injury to you or your child incurred through the use of its garments. Outfits may include small parts that can be harmful if swallowed.
  4. You are responsible for the timely return of the item. You are required to return ship the following Monday (or next business day if Monday is a holiday) using the packaging and shipping label provided. There are no exceptions. If an item has not been shipped back on the Monday (or the next business day if Monday id a holiday), then it is regarded as stolen and you will be referred to your local Law Enforcement.
  5. You are required to retain the return shipping receipt until the package has been received by us, This is your proof of return. Without this, there is no proof of you having returned the rented garment and you are responsible for the replacement costs of the item at fair market value. You do not need to provide a copy of the return shipping receipt unless requested to do so.

DISPUTES

Legal disputes will be governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

By completing your purchase on this site you will be able to provide consent to receive an email invitation to review your order(s). If your location dictates that explicit consent is required for Gemics LLC to send review reminders, please be advised that the ‘Customer Consent’ option at checkout is available to you.

Reviews and Testimonial opportunities both have the option of uploading images. You are responsible for the adequate editing of these pictures to maintain privacy and personal security.

CONSENT

There are various areas on this site that either require or encourage you to provide images of minors or documents to confirm or establish your identification

  1. Your Identification
    • Providing a copy of a valid Government Issued I.D. is a requirement ahead of renting. Orders are not confirmed until I.D. has been received and placed on file.
    • We keep that information stored securely and you are entitled to request that we delete / destroy your filed information at any time.
  2. Uploading of Images ( For the purposes of Reviews and Roll of Honor Inclusion )
    • By uploading images that feature a minor child, you are certifying that you are the legal guardian of the featured minor, and that you are providing agreement to Gemics LLC to use the image anywhere on it's website and across all Social Media platforms on which Gemics LLC is a registered account holder.

RETURN SHIPPING

Please see important packaging information by following the link below. It shows how to:

  1. Place the dress bag (same one as the outfit arrived in) inside the box.
  2. Gently lower the outfit into the bag and tie the dress bag loosely closed.
  3. Tape the box securely closed, remove the original shipping label, apply the supplied return label, and drop off at an authorized UPS shipper before 5pm on the Monday after your pageant.
  4. Keep your shipping receipt until your outfit is back with us.

All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, for any reason. Photographs, descriptions, measurements and any pertinent information is provided ahead of sale.

Payment Plans

Installment payments on Payment Plans are required to be on time. Whilst every effort is made to ensure you are sent email notifications of outstanding balances and payment schedules, it is your responsibility to remain in good standing and make their payments in a timely manner.

If a payment date is missed, your order is automatically canceled. Payment plans are only available on select products for sale. The products selected for this option are considered Custom. Therefore, refunds of any kind are not offered. All payments, including Deposits and Partial Payments are Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable.

ON RECEIPT OF PURCHASE

Please open the box immediately upon receipt and inspect for any damage or flaws. Any issues must be reported within 24 hours of receipt.

LIABILITY

By purchasing from Gemics LLC, you agree to absolve Gemics LLC, its owners, officers and employees from any harm and responsibility in the event of injury to you or your child incurred through the use of its garments. Outfits may include small parts that can be harmful if swallowed.  

Legal disputes will be governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

RETURNS

The only reason permitted for the return of a dress is if the standard of workmanship can be considered as being defective. Do not return your purchase without requesting an RMA#.

After obtaining an RMA#, pack the product back into the original box, tape it securely closed, remove the original shipping label, apply the supplied return label, and drop off at an authorized UPS shipper the next business day.  

Keep your shipping receipt until your return is back with us.

  

Your dress will be attended to immediately upon receipt. It will be return shipped as soon as the required work is completed.
