Custom Rental Dresses

The New Idea of Custom Rentals Explained

(Apologies for the length of post, but custom work is more detail orientated and we all need to be clear about the process and intent This is important, so please take a minute.)

1. This service is offered over and above the normal operations. Gemics will still be adding to its own rental inventory while also making dresses available for sale. This is an opportunity to have a dress made for you to be debuted at a specific pageant.
2. There is an initial limit of 2 dresses per 30 days.
3. Every dress is seen & worn by the customer first.
4. All dresses created will be returned to inventory and be made available for general rental after the original customer has debuted the dress.
5. Normal rental terms apply.

The Booking Process

1. Prior to booking, it is highly advisable that you discuss any "out of the box" ideas with us to make sure we can fulfill your vision. If you've never seen a dress like the one you want, check with us first. If you've never seen a Gemics dress like the one you envision, check with us first.
2. You will need a copy of your ID ready to upload, as well as pics of your measurements. The measurements needed are 'Chest' and 'Shoulder to Hem'. See the link at bottom of page for any assistance needed. Have pics stored and ready on your phone ahead of booking.
3. Bookings are made in the same way as a normal rental - You select the Friday before your pageant. The booking is for 3 days. You return the dress on the following Monday.
4. Due to the limited number of slots we can offer, each available slot is likely to be sought after. Plan as far ahead as you can.
5.  You will receive pics & video of the completed dress 7 days before it ships (roughly 2 weeks before your pageant).
6. If you are booking far in advance, the measurements provided in this booking form will probably need updating closer to the time. We will be in touch 3 -4 weeks ahead of time to get current measurements. It is still a requirement that we have current measurements on file so please do take care to measure correctly.

Voiding / Cancelling This Order

1. You may cancel your order at any time up to 2 weeks ahead of shipping. In this case, a store credit will be issued. There are no refunds or credits offered for cancellations after that time.
2. If Gemics cannot fulfill your order for technical or design reasons, a store credit will be issued.
3. If your ID is not provided within 24 hours, the order will be cancelled and a store credit will be issued.
4. If your ID details do not match your Shipping address of this order, this order will be cancelled and a store credit will be issued.
5. Store credits have no cash value. They are valid for use in this store for 3 months from date of issue. They can be applied to any rental on this site.
